Family heart brake

I was so surprised and heartbroken for the family when things started to unfold. You just never know what people are capable of when desperate. But seeing how the community and family came together in the end was worth it.

All emotions Experienced

I cried through the first few chapters, stopped crying through many, and smiled through the rest. The story was a tad predictable but so well written I didn’t mind. I was sorry to have the novel end; I look forward to more novels by Jennifer Ryan read by Brittany Presley!

Interesting story

I loved the story and couldn’t wait to find out how it ended.
There were some cheesy parts where the characters were speaking in ways that seemed a little out of character (ie calling someone “sweetheart “ multiple times). The narrator was enjoyable. Overall I would recommend this book.

Loved this Book!

Jennifer Ryan is one of my favorite writers, and this book is one of her best!
The story was captivating...the narrator was perfect.
Once I started I was up half the night in order to finish, couldn’t walk away from it.
Thank you Jennifer...keep them coming. I love all your books.

Refreshing new story nothing I’ve read before and couldn’t stop!

My favorite narrator Brittany Presley influenced this purchase. I couldn’t stop! Plot twists, mystery, action, deception, romance!! Jennifer Ryan includes it all. I will be looking into more books by Jennifer Ryan and hopefully they are all just as entertaining! This book could be a movie!! Love it! Highly recommended. I am putting it on the read list for my book club.

This kept me listening almost nonstop

I thoroughly loved this book and the narration was amazing. I was in awe of the heroine who really walked the walk and not just the talk. She exemplified true Christianity as it was intended rather than as it can often be exploited. This is the second book by this author that I have listened to and it definitely won’t be the last. It felt real and with some of the subject matter that is very sad. It’s obviously fiction, but some people act a lot like many of the characters in the book. Here’s to more Evangelines in real life. 5 stars

Perfect story for young adults or older teenagers.

The narrator was enjoying. It was a little young for me, but overall the story was good.
