Narration was one of the worst I’ve ever heard
It was difficult to pay attention to the story because of the poor narration. It was very unnatural and stilted. Moving story though.

Good read

Very good story
Story was Interesting. The narration was annoying however you will be missing that narrator when you are listening to book two. It's the worse one we heard. Like a grandma reading a bedtime story to kids. No emotion or nuances at all. No performance. I am working through it so I can see what happens to Cammy

Bait and switch
Little did I know you have to listen to the second book to even discover what actually happened to the main character. The summary makes you think there is actually a story here, buts it’s just the painful beginning. Also, I think it would have been better for the narrator to just use her regular voice instead of trying to make her voice sound like a child and a man. It’s annoying.
