Best series ever

Everything about the series, how it was written and read, the story line. Phenomenal! I can not wait for the next book.

Great character development

This entry in this series allows for greater character development by focusing a majority of the story on characters other than the Captain. I did enjoy the story and it seemed by the end that everyone grew in some way or another. I cannot wait for the next book in the series, I have read them all.

this was a great book with lots of twists and turns and stories within stories.

Frightening Adventure Without Maddox

This story is fantastic. Very enjoyable to see Valerie, Riker, and Keith, as they bungle a nightmare in space without the help of Maddox and Ludendorff. The vocals of Mark Boyett are worth the price of admission !!

How on earth or space do you continue to be creative? Excellent on all your books, but bravo on this one.

entertaining

overall entertaining and creative. I enjoyed expanding the other characters. Would have rated five stars, but the internal friction within Star Watch a buzz kill. Given the external threats that can end human civilization the constant demeaning of Victory's crew by high command is getting old. Star Watch should be a crack force top down. On to the next episode...

It's getting boring

this book feels like serval old stories modified and connected together, good for killing time, but not fascinating.

A rare miss

I have loved this series so much since I discovered it and the ride here has been great. However, this offering to the series is shit. I can usually finish these books quickly, but this one has been awful. Not a single one of the characters encountered so far is compelling or interesting. I don't follow this story for Valerie who can't accept she'll never be Maddox, or an annoying and flat Riker who is only obsessed with sex this whole series. Keith was the only character who wasn't annoying and I really feel like it is because he was sidelined for Riker.

This story needs to get back to the focus of it. The Leviathan coming, the New Men ultimately renewing the war and Maddox. I don't care about anyone else except maybe Galyan, and Ludendorf as characters with interesting stories. This whole tale just felt like an attempt to make other, NPC's, the star of the show and if this is the start of a bait and switch then this will be my last Lost Starship story.

No capt Maddox. No victory

I’m sorry but you can’t call this a story in the “lost starship” series without the main characters! It was an ok listen but nothing new or exciting happened. Very easy to guess what was coming next. Perhaps it’s time to retire this series and start work on another one. I come here to listen to Maddox not to listen to characters say constantly “what would Maddox do” or “if Maddox were here”. You keep bringing it up and reminding me why I hate this book!
