Twenty years pass, and Sadie is still living in the same quiet suburb. She's married to a good man, has two beautiful children, and seems to have put her past behind her. But when a boy from her old neighborhood returns to town, the nightmares of that summer will begin to resurface, and its unsolved mysteries will finally become clear.

Different than what I had thought

This book has been in my library for at least a year or longer. I don't know why j waited so king - I loved the book and did not want it to end. I am sad there are no more books by this author, I would read them all!

Longings? More like too Long.

What could Karen Brown have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Too much superfulous writing. The pace was painfully slow.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Arielle DeLisle?

narrator was fine.

there was so much sheer boredom, I couldn't even pick any particular scene.
