This is a thoughtful, sensitive and extremely well-narrated and produced version of a sad, but hopeful, really lovely story.
There are moments when the reader can't imagine where the story is going, but the epilogue is uniquely perfect. I adored the protagonist and her eventual adult friends.

I'm sorry to have finished the book, because I'll miss Biddy Weir ... an unforgettable main character.
I recommend this book to those of us sensible enough to uphold the dignity of every being.

From start to finish this book is emotional. At one point I said out loud “ Oh no!!” When something unexpected seemed to happen. I was rooting for Biddy the entire book. I couldn’t put it down( audio) and it will stay with me a long time. Excellent narration as well.
