Resumen del Editor

With the value of the dollar sinking, bond yields drying up, giant investment banks collapsing, and stock markets crumbling, how can you ensure that your money will stay safe? By becoming better acquainted with the markets, the "professionals" who populate the field of finance, and most importantly, yourself. While this may sound like simple advice, author Jason Zweig - the investing and personal finance columnist for the Wall Street Journal - knows how difficult this endeavor can be.

But as a trusted voice in the financial community, he has helped thousands of investors achieve this goal, and now, with The Little Book of Safe Money, he wants to help you do the same. This is the perfect guide for those trying to make their way through today's tough markets. He covers everything from investing behavior and why our minds come with their own set of biases that often prove harmful to the use of financial advisors, and goes one step further than the rest by questioning an investor's true appetite for risk. Zweig also debunks many of the myths that whirl around Wall Street with chapters like "Hedge-Fund Hooey."

"When it comes to protecting your money - and your sanity - no one has the goods like Jason Zweig. If he wrote it, I'll read it. And you should too." (Jean Chatzky, financial editor, NBC's Today Show, and author of Money 911)

For any and all Investors

This book if a must for any and all investors who need tips to stay out of trouble while investing their money. I retired and spend full time reading about and participating in the market with a percentage of my retirement funds. Jason Zweig has been a favorite of mine for years with his articles in the WSJ. This book in a compilation of his prudent thoughts and ideas of disaster avoidance. My wife thoroughly enjoyed reading it herself.

Good book to avoid losing 💰

Zweig points out a lot of good questions, strategies, and concepts to help investors navigate the noise. not much here on how to structure your portfolio to maximize the gains. he focuses on avoided bad situations and is very much a diversified take what you can get type of player. not a courageous opinion, but as the book says very SAFE.
