Acerca de esta escucha
Lost. That’s where I was 11 years ago, after having just graduated from law school. Broken, cast away, flailing my arms aimlessly under the waters of failure, rejection, and sadness, with the heaviness stemming from choices I had made tormenting me. Looking back, I see that I flailed for a long time without the full resolve to go upwards, because somewhere in the back of my mind, I believed I deserved to sink.
During that time, during my darkest days, I could not see the light to end my night. I certainly could not have fathomed the thought of being a light. I could only see pain. And rain steadily pitter-pattered on my heart. What would my future hold? Would I be overcome by the waves? Would I ever find Harbor? When I was lost at sea, this is where I discovered principles of The Lighthouse Method. Applying these principles to my life saved me, empowered me, and allowed me to shine my brightest once again. Now I can lead others to do the same. If you have disqualified yourself after a monumental failure and seek to be pulled out of the waves of depression, this book is for you. We all fall down, and within these chapters, you will find the strength to get back up.
In this book and through The Lighthouse Method, you will learn to:
- Prepare to rise up
- Become a prism
- Have the right support system
- Bend your light and shine
- Find harbor and become
This book will help you move from the darkness of depression, tragedy, or strife to light. It is designed to help you shine your brightest even when all hope of finding your light is gone. Learn the principles of The Lighthouse Method and apply its steps to your life so you, too, will be saved. You will learn to shine again. And your light will give others permission to move out of their darkness. Your light will pierce the night!

Many people don't like the story God is writing in their lives. The mistakes, failures, tragedies, and circumstances outside of our control linger in our minds and hold us back. How do we come to grips with the pieces of our stories that we wish weren't there? How do we silence the pain of what has been done to us and the shame of what we've allowed to be done through us? In When You Don't Like Your Story, Bible teacher Sharon Jaynes shows us how God untangles our most painful emotions with the fingers of grace, putting his redemption on display.

This book will teach you how to battle your spiritual struggles from the winning side so that you can be victorious both in your life and in the issues happening in today’s world. Many Christians limp through their lives feeling beat up by the enemy, their circumstances, and internal strife. They look at the pattern of world events with a sense of hopelessness. Too often they simply accept these as the natural trials and challenges of life. However, other Christians acknowledge that there is a war happening, a battle between angels and demons.
