Phenomenal

I didn’t enjoy that the chapters jump around in time, but I know a lot of people like books like this. Otherwise this book was AMAZING and I definitely cried during the last few chapters. I had a close family member named Wanda and I thought of her every time the name was said. Just beautiful.

A story of hope at the end of the way we live.

A beautiful book that recognizes the possibilities of human existence. Maybe some of us will continue as the rest of refuse to change our ways.

A good book to curl up with

A great Novel I was totally taken by it. I found it difficult to put down, I didn’t want it to end.

Favorite book of fiction in 2022

This book is full of fasinating facts and delightful fantasy.
All charactors well developed and fasinating.

Way not what I was expecting

I just got so wrapped up in the story I wanted to know the next thing. I live in Florida (Miami) and I just can not imagine the story unfolding like this. It is both scary and worrisome as each year you do see more and more lack of concern for this world and are inability to care for it.

Kept me interested. Good narration. I will be looking for other books from this author.

Thought provoking

Since I live in Florida, I find this book a little scary. The storms are coming more frequent just like in the book and makes you think what mankind can do to stop this.

Eerie rendition of our future world

Fascinating story of a survivalist and a young girl finding their way in an ever changing climate in Florida.

The story took my breath.

how this author writes with such a degree of poignant and devastating reality is a wonderment. these characters will stay in my heart and float around in my head for a long time after I finished the book.
