In 1719 Elizabeth Goose published a collection of rhyming spells as a children's book, creating a spell book of terrifying power. The Librarian of that age managed to dispose of all copies of the book except one, which remained in the possession of Elizabeth Goose and her family, temporarily averting any potential disaster. Now, strange things are happening around the world. A tree trimmer in Florida is blown off his elevated perch by a freak gust of wind, a woman in rural Pennsylvania is attacked by mutant rodents without any eyes, and a college professor in England finds herself trapped inside a prize pumpkin at a local farmer's market. Baird and her team of Librarians suspect that the magic of Mother Goose is again loose in the world, and with Flynn AWOL - again - it is up to Cassandra, Ezekiel, and Stone to track down the missing spell book before the true power of the rhymes can be unleashed.

Narrator really captures the TV actor's identities in delivering. Full of laughs, suspense, and face-paced.
I love how all the characters from the TV show pretty much have at least one chapter of action all to themselves in this one.
I have to say it too, even though it's a slight spoiler.
In a scene with the character Stone there's a line about how to create "leverage." I swear you can almost see the slight pause after he says leverage. He said it just like he did on his old show. ..
I hope there is another soon

a great book and a great listen

fantastic librarians story
ridiculously silly and campy just like the TV show I liked this book better than the first one in the series about Aladdin's lamp.
