I wasn’t sure what I was going to be learning when I got this book. I learned several things while listening to this book. 1. That the education I received at a Christian school came nowhere near what was described as a liberal Christian education. 2. The comparison between the two styles of education may be an explanation as to why many students leave the church after graduation. As the one layers religion on top of the other studies, but it is not integrated as it is described in this book.
Overall, I think this is a good book and a good plan to educate children nowadays. I wish I had had this level of education as I was coming up through primary and secondary and I also wish my daughters had had the same chance. I do recommend this book. As I believe it has a lot of instruction that is useful to today’s society.
