Great book from my favorite historian!

I love Doris’ style! Although I have read the 4 big biographies, this one sound refreshing!

I loved that the author brings in their childhood experience to show that influence on them as leaders.

I loved all of it. Definitely a good book to recommend to our youth now and in the future.

Terrific.

This book is an excellent review of the success and failures of 4 US Presidents. It’s is a remainder, nonetheless. that despite its flaws and man’s shortcomings, democracy is still the best form of government.

Doris Kern Goodwin is one of the best authors on historical reenactment. This was an excellent book about four presidents. Really enjoyed it! Liked her epilogue at the end.

History comes alive

All of DKG’s book make history come alive for me. I thought I knew a lot about the subjects in this book, but, as usual, I came away so enriched. Her ability to tell stories is like no other.

I love History

I absolutely loved this book. Mrs. Goodwin is one of the best writers of my generation. And like her I love History all history.

Great overview of each leader

I read this as an adult. The writer had included the perfect amount of information.

The story was told from a different perspective.

I love this audio book. I’ve listened to it for 7days straight now. All four Presidents are my favorite. They had a vision and did everything in their power to carry it out the best they could. In the past I never read a lot about LBJ, but now I feel that I must visit his Presidential Library and give him the proper credit he deserves. Theodore Roosevelt is my favorite President and Lincoln and Franklin might be the greatest of them. Great job.
