Great Book Can't Wait To Start Book Two. The Story Keep Me Really Interested

Narrator was so bland it

The story has potential. it was hard to get through this one because the Narrator was so boring. not much range in voices or expression. almost monotone.

okay not great

the characters felt very flat the driving goals for somewhat less and what I expect from a Sci-Fi series of this magnitude.War with aliens. sShowing up at the last minute and being able to defeat the enemy with a secret weapon they just happen to have. The main character didn't show any strategic advance or or tactical genius. overall I felt the story fell a little flat
