The book ends abruptly! I will have to see if they have another book after the box set. I can’t wait to hear even more about their journey!!

fast paced, light and fun, good concept

this set is more upbeat and positive for the type but not too much. the female pov is a nice change from the typical. I really want to read the rest of the series.

unrealistic

Note to author:
I would tend to believe that the author is not experienced with firearms, especially in a combat type environment. when a group of people keeps having to chamber a round of ammunition, every time they encounter bad guys, then they are idiots. if you're in a dangerous environment, you keep your weapon fully loaded, including one round in the chamber. the sound of a round being jacked into the chamber may sound cool in the movies, but it really tells your opposition that you're a freaking unprepared idiot.
