Captain Axel Finn is bored out of his mind being a peacetime hero, so when a murdered scientist's final message reveals coordinates to a mythical planet, he and the Trash Squid crew jump at the chance for a new adventure. They've got a small window to reach it before it vanishes, and they're not the only ones racing to get there first.

With hostile forces on their tail, the crew plunges into uncharted space chasing a mystery that's consumed civilizations and left bodies in its wake. Some legends are worth hunting down, others are better left buried—and Axel's about to find out which kind he's chasing.

Mark Boyett at his best!!

The 'Galaxy In Flames' series is one of the more creative and entertaining other-worldly literary adventures. It should be noted that like all space going ships, you are bound to pick up a few strange shipmates. If you've read any of the other books in the series, you know what I mean. I have read them all and was excited to acquire the latest. There is a lot of action and tense moments as they continue to be chased by their arch enemy, the Corinns. This time the encounter with the Corinns take on universal consequences.
In addition to a great read, there is also an Audible version performed by the talented Mark Boyett. You don't want to miss The Last Legends: Book 3.5 by Nicholas Sansbury Smith. - Mr. Bill

Another banger!

Listened to this in Audible plus then bought a copy for my library. I love these stories! Boyett does a great job with the characters of which there are many. I hope to hear more of these someday. Great addition to the saga.

Trash Squid 2.0

A new Nicholas Sansbuy Smith is always a good thing, but a return to Galaxy in Flames is a delight. I cleared a few hours from my schedule and waited with glee. I was not disappointed.
I love Space Opera and Galaxy in Flames is damn near perfection.

We want more!

Short, sweet, full of laughs and tense moments! This was a great continuation of the story, and like the title says, the fans want more!
