Best of 2018

We thoroughly enjoyed both the story and the narration. We're left earnestly hoping for another book in the series.

Great Book

Loved the reader, great voices. Story was fun, engaging and had great twist and turns. Did not disappoint and look forward to more.

Beautiful, funny and full of twists

Very well written story. If you loved Monty and Percys story than you will love Felicity, Johannas and Simms story! Full of twist and women who are heroic in those challenging times.

Another Home Run!

The sequel to The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue did not disappoint. I loved Monty and Percy so much, so I did initially worry about what I would do without them. But, it turns out that Felicity is just as witty and endearing as the two of them. Full of adventure and girl power, this is the perfect companion to book 1 and leaves me excited for the 3rd book next!

Audio book narrator was outstanding!

Felicity is wonderful

I like that she has the courage to pursue her dreams and that she doesn’t accept the easy way out of trouble. The marriage proposal she refuses would have made her and the young man terribly unhappy in the long run. I think she will be quite happy and challenged living the life of a pirate.

Brothers Do It Better

though this was a sequel and we pretty much new what might happen, the first book in this series was waaaaaaay funnier. maybe it's because I'm a gay male and for that reason Monte had better linea I could relate to, or it could be that Ms. Monteque was too predicable. Nonetheless, it was a great entertaining book

THIS was EVERYTHING I could have ever expected

I was obsessed... OBSESSED with the first book. i was obsessed with the confrontation of racial injustice, feminism, and homophobia. the world was so perfectly realistic and fantastical that I was almost dreading this book. How xould it POSSIBLY live up to Monty and his beau's romance, and the relationship between siblings, the defiant spirits and the beauty that is the story around it all?
Let me just say, above anything I am ASHAMED to have every doubted the magic that is this book. ASHAMED to have seen it as just "the second book".. this, was everything I imagined, and more. The story sunk it's teeth into me from the start, and it only got worse the further I listened. I mean, the relationship between SIM and Felicity, to start was just... SO GOOD. There was a slow climb of attachment, and a slow climb towards what I see as a partnership. Felicity was never perfect, she was challenged in her mindset, and I'm just going to stop now. this book was almost better than the first... almost is so loose because I literally can't decide what book I loved more!!!

Fun sequel

Nice follow up to the gentleman's guide to vice and virtue - funny - historical romp. Preferred the original slightly but would definitely read further adventures.

Just as good if not better than the first book

I absolutely loved this book! Felicity makes a perfect main character and the ending of this book leaves me begging for a third to see where the story turns and I would love to see something unfold with her and sim.
