Twisty and deep story line.

I really love these books. Even though they scare me and make my heart race.

Some violence

I thoroughly enjoyed this audio book. There were some chapters and passages that were a little bit too violent/scary for me.

Bad language & too many characters

First let me say I love these books! The first one was much more enjoyable because the plot was more clear and the character development was better. This one had a sub-plot with tough gangster types using vulgar language (every other word beginning with F) and it made me cringe. It seriously detracted from my enjoyment of the book. Please take note Mr. Burton and omit from your next book!

Solid story, it took some concentration in the beginning but over all very good book.

Pretty Good

The Keepers is a pretty good cozy mystery with engaging characters and an entertaining plot. The pace is a bit slow but it's worth it to stick to the end.

Really Enjoying This Series

As the headline says... I'm really enjoying this series. For me, the narration takes this up a notch or two. Story is really good. The narration is excellent & a great pairing.

Love books about dogs like this. Not to mention it’s a great story and a great reader.
Could do without the F word.

When fiction resembles truth…

This felt like it could be a true story. So good. I love Mason and Kippy and ALL the dogs!

Loved it! Story has great combo of the dog handler and the police. Love the writers terminology with the dogs he has in the story
