Delving into one of the most disturbing scandals of our time, this book unravels the complex and sinister web surrounding Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
Epstein’s private island has by now become a symbol of unchecked exploitation — and the network of wealthy elites involved in secrecy and coercion too powerful to ignore.
Investigative reporting exposes the hidden mechanisms of control, from clandestine tapes and secret meetings, to cover-ups, coercion, and a justice system unwilling to act.
How extensive is the truth behind the walls of the rich and powerful? This is a probing, stark examination of the lengths to which some will go to protect their darkest secrets.
So much for the part that says that "wealth and connections don't prevent consequences," and that it's good that "victims can feel free to come forward and know they'll be heard," now that Trump is going to pardon Ghislaine just to avoid any chance of evidence surfacing implicating him in Epstein's paedôphîlía; he'll go to the ends of the earth to make it look like he's not completely and totally involved in that twisted, despicable, stuffy, criminal world. DARVOs, all three of them.
My heart goes out to the victims, especially the late Virginia, who are once again being silenced by the same administration that "got rid of" Epstein when this all unfolded.
I don't doubt there are some Democrats who will be revealed, but as it stands, 85% of congressional Democrats voted to release the Epstein files; NONE of the Republicans did - even the ones like MTG who acted ravenous to have the DOJ be transparent with the info. You do the math.
Anyway, this is a terrible book. If you prompt Ai with "write a 5-hour milquetoast summary on Jeffrey Epstein," this is exactly what you get.
CLEARLY Written by Ai. I can practically hear all the em dashes.
