Resumen del Editor

Companies all over the world could greatly benefit from moving part or even all their staff to work from home as virtual employees. Using the techniques and strategies inside The Invisible Organization, all that is possible quickly and efficiently. If you are the CEO of a company that could benefit from generating more profits, shedding overhead, and thrilling staff, this book is a must-listen.

A former CEO of Tony Robbins and Chet Holmes Business Breakthroughs, International, Russo successfully scaled the company with nearly 100 percent growth per year and about 300 remote staff, owning no infrastructure. Russo helps clients create the leadership management strategy as outlined in his book and advises CEOs on moving virtual with confidence. Why is this book different from other books on working virtually? It comes from the CEO's perspective as an operating executive, dealing with the strategy of creating momentum around changing the company slowly at first and then accelerating as results prove viable. The book is more of a blueprint designed to accomplish this singular act of internal revolution.

excellent ideas

It gave me some great ideas to gradually transform my traditional company into a modern delocalized or as they call it "invisible" organization

Mostly Good

The Invisible Organization was recommended to me by my father, who runs a successful ($15MM/yr) business in the Midwest from his home on the beach in Florida. I am part owner of a fairly large advertising agency, and he thought it would be as valuable of a read (listen?) for me as it was for him.

While the book has some very good points for those running organizations with call centers and order takers, I felt it was not geared as well for those who run more relationship-oriented businesses.

The author also had a number of absolutes that I caution business owners against following. Some of the suggestions for radio broadcasting, for instance, might work well when selling Anthony Robbins programs, but won't work if you have a carpet cleaning franchise or a catering service.

That said, the audio was very good and the author was easy to listen to. The book flowed well and I didn't feel any parts were too drawn out.

If you are running a sales-focused business from afar, this is a good book for you.

Okay.

This guy is a professional infomercial/"information product" guy, meaning selling 300$ webinars, so he could teach you how to sell 300$ webinars, to other people. Nothing wrong with that niche, I guess, other than it's a sum zero game. Other than that, and huge introduction along with mentioning his website every segment, this book is pretty interesting, and provides new idea on how to run your business. Mostly applies to training and consulting business but could be used other places.
