be prepared ready or not it's going to happen ok

I'm 75 years old, and I thought it was breathtaking in terms of the world my grandchildren will live in. I think at least portions of it should be read by everyone interested in the future

Interesting, stimulating, questionable

In some respects, the real-world application of new technologies holds promise for the developing world. On the other hand, the starry-eyed promises of technology offer nothing, really, for the very real-world problems we face of hunger, poverty and perpetual war. The narration of the book is, at times, almost painful to listen to. The author should have brought in a narrator. Over half the book is monotone ending to sentences.

Question in India..

I am from India and the question is ..which part of India did you find "knee deep faeces" that you were walking in? I feel it was a very wrong picture to paint about India.

The parts of the book on nation states are very interesting and informative. Don't give up reading if you can't find direct advice.
There are few individuals with writers experience.

Distopian future based on our absurd present

very interesting account of everything that al gores internet brought with it, without much to say of the alta vistas, pets.com, napsters, Boston chicken, marthas curtains or all the Wall Street corruption that made hundreds of companies for the robbed Pension funds and individual investors over the past two decades...

Great Cliff notes to areas to watch

This book covers a wide variety of topics very quickly and goes over a lot of key areas to pay attention to. I enjoyed it and learned a lot from it.
