Verdunmull is ripe with luscious forests and vast mountain ranges. Inhabited by many including elves, dwarves, dragons, and humans. Yet, the souls inhabiting Verdunmull are unaware of what encroaches upon their lands and the war waging on the ethereal plain.
Long ago, the Ikalreev of old were cursed with visions. Their foresight revealed the arrival of a creature without eyes, one of horns and hooves. An ominous sign of an approaching darkness. The once great race knew warriors of great power were crucial to survive the premonitions of fire and brimstone. The ancient race cast a powerful spell to weave through time and aid the mortals seen in their visions. This spell would transfer the ancient race’s purest magic to five chosen beings, who would hold the power to stem the darkness. Now, Verdunmull is bound together in a tenuous peace. Dangers lurk just beyond sight. An echo of the coming darkness whispers to wary ears. The mortals are not prepared.
At the precipice, angels will fall….
