Pros and cons of various “green” products are discussed so that the homeowner can understand the smartest purchases and practices. One of the things you will learn is that the envelope of the home is just as important as the HVAC. You have to understand both to be successful. The envelope is thoroughly discussed as well as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and the various green technologies.

Recommended to improve home efficiency

Well worth the just under 3 hour listen. Good sketches and pictures. Good explanations of the equipment and options in the home.

Very well written and informative

I am a 79-year-old woman and I found this book very helpful and easy to understand. Especially when discussing green technologies with my grandchildren. Now I understand what the envelope of the house is and how it works with air-conditioning

not all about HVAC

Maybe helpful for some. I was hoping this was all about HVAC. However, it covers all topic in a home. I guess I was so excited about HVAC that I didn't review it well before purchasing it.
