Amazing work on God’s Holiness!

R.C. Sproul has played such a huge role in my life when it comes to understanding the holiness of God. Through many of his sermons, as well as listening to this book, I have come to have a greater awareness of God’s holiness and I am awestruck by His magnificence! I would highly recommend this book!

An absolute classic

A must read book—it lifts us from the superficial to a scripturally rich consideration of God in his glory and holiness.

The Profane vs the Holy

As usual RC Sproul tackled this topic from different angles. The two that stood out most to me were the discussion of the sermon by Jonathan Edwards, “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God”. He discussed how we are at enmity with God and still all that stands between us and the flames are the hands of God.
The last chapter is about Holy places and times. This was fascinating! He talked about the design of church buildings, and how some intend to help us sense the majesty and awe of God. In these buildings we make a transition when we enter and may experience the Holiness of God.

Humbled immensely

Lord I am in awe of Your Majesty and Your forgiveness. Please ABBA let me see Your glory. Thank You for Your Holiness that surpasses all of my wicked sins. Amen.

Profound truth

This expressed classical orthodoxy in modern and eloquent terms. It provided an excellent platform for considering a broad array of theological topics essential to the Christian faith.

Excellent book

This is very profound book. It teaches you the awe of God which seems missing today.

The way RC explained the holiness of God is breathtaking

Once reading this book you leave with a much better understanding of the Holiness of God and how limited we can even begin to grasp it. But because of that holiness you begin to realize more significantly what Jesus did for you on that Corss. what a holy God we serve!!

Great description of the holiness of GOD

R.C. Sproul was an amazing preacher and writer of GOD’s truths. Let the BIBLE remain true and all other things be proven false. I enjoyed this book and learned some things as R.C. Sproul backed his findings with Scripture. May I finish this spiritual journey so I can hear the LORD JESUS CHRIST say to me, “Well done good and faithful servant. Come and enter into your MASTER’s happiness”. I would hope to catch up with R.C. Sproul also in the LORD’s PRESENCE.
