Woman who did not want to marry

What I did not like most of all is the voice. It always sounded like same person speaking, like the men voice where the same as Cat’s. To feminine to me or to the same across the story, why do women of the time period struggle with the thought of marriage.

Horrible narration

This author will appeal to a young audience as the female character is very immature. The dialogue is not appropriate for the time period, especially when modern language is inserted. The story line is not too bad but the virtual voice narration affects the telling very badly. The inflection of the voice at times sounds like a third grader reading out loud. Reading in the same voice is confusing during dialog because you can’t tell who is speaking. Good thing this was a free book because it’s not worth a credit.
