great story But……….

Eliza Knight did a fantastic job writing an awesome story. Nice twist in the beginning with “Broken” being nasty and turning into a wonderful thoughtful hunk of a man. But unfortunately I was constantly distracted from the narrators mouth. At first I thought it was just me then it turned into listening at every pause, end of sentence thus driving me off kilter. Corrie James sounded like she had glue in her mouth and was in need of water in desperation but never got it. The entire book was like this and I think I would rather have 5” fingernails scraping a chalkboard. it was nerve racking. Ugh. This was my first book read by Corrie James and though I am sorry to say I cannot sit thru another book listening to the inside of someone’s mouth stuck to its tongue or cheeks but to be completely honest with my opinion she otherwise did do a fine job annunciating. I feel let down because I really wanted to continue with Eliza Knights series on audio but I will relinquish to the good old fashioned reading.

Loved everything about them all. tying the books together. leaves me wanting more. Need to get book 10 out there on Audio
