Excellent dark fantasy!!

I really enjoyed this story and the narrator nailed it. There are a number of very interesting characters great world building. The story has a little bit of a darker theme the world is making monsters to fight monsters. Perfect for spooky season!

The Perfect Dark Fantasy with Yearning and Divine Punishments

Absolutely obsessed. I still have 4 hours left. This is everything ive ever wanted in a dark fantasy. The spice is on the page and slightly off the page, but it doesnt feel like it because the YEARNING !!! So sad for this book to end.

Best Fantasy Audiobook of 2025!

This book has everything you want in a high fantasy book! The lore and world-building are immersive and fascinating, and the magic system is so unique. Alex Bree also does a great job building connections and interactions between each of the characters, which creates so much depth. Leslie Gallagher does an incredible job narrating, and gives each character an individual voice and personality, which is so impressive given how man characters there are in this story!
