But they have been caught, and their asylum request will most certainly be denied. With truly no options remaining, Marisol jumps at an unusual opportunity to stay in the United States. She's asked to become a grief keeper, taking the grief of another into her own body to save a life. It's a risky, experimental study, but if it means Marisol can keep her sister safe, she will risk anything. Beautiful, creative, take on the emotional immigrant/refugee story. This for young people and adults alike!!

Great listen

This book was a good read. I would recommend. Very well done and also informative. This is a book we are reading for book club and we will have great discussions about the content.

The book literally mentions that the main character doesn't have an accent, so why did the narrator exaggerate one?

the story however was very new and creative.

I can see this more relatable for immigrant youth, the story was a little stale and simplistic to me
