fantastic series

I cannot wait until the next book comes out!! This series has been really fun, and it's great to see Bi representation. in a fantasy series!

Cannot Stop Listening

I haven't read anything that wasn't an academic paper, textbook, or related to my studies in years. This book is the first thing I have read just for fun and I devoured it. I am not a reader no matter how much I have always wished I was, my disabilities have always made it very difficult. This book was so delicious and easy to listen to/read that I simply had to pick it up every chance I had and all the following books. Beautifully written and performed!

Love the universe and characters Piper has created with this series!

The whole series, this book included, is really well written. it's full of surprises, while still being a comfortable read/listen.

I wish there was bit more detail into the lives of other characters to build a larger universe. However, I absolutely love this series and am looking forward to the next book!

Good, but not as great as the first volume

The writing is still top-notch, but the deep complex characters of the first volume were reduced to a weird episode of, “Friends” while they were supposedly preparing to go on the most important mission of the series. this volume smacked of filler in order to stretch the series into five volumes or more.

Great Story

I loved this book, it was so engaging and interesting. I can’t wait for the fourth one to hit audible. I wanna read it as soon as it comes out but I’m so enthralled with the voice work, I’m making myself wait lol

I've been hooked since book 1

great story, world and character building. My only issue is with the editing. there were at least 3 times where a few lines repeated themselves, like a bad splice.

Loved every bit of it. Wonderful character and romance development, with the bonus of great story telling. Pleasant twists and surprises throughout lend credence to a world in need of renewal and hope. Well done, Piper!

Wonderful continuation of the story

I enjoyed listening to this book and loved every moment. I liked laying more about the works and the magic system along with all of the characters and how they grew together. I'm sorry excited for the final book to be released 🥰
