Good family story!

Great for a long car ride and the narrator was excellent - very enjoyable and a good family story. Listen to it

Excellent story with lots of twists

A well told tale that combines non-fiction information with fiction. Very entertaining! A good introduction for middle school science

Great read aloud for 4th grade.

The story is entertaining. I like the focus on science and the clever introduction of various scientists and their accomplishments.

This book is great and makes you think differently and look st the world better.

probably a better read than a listen

The story was very creative. The moral reminded me of Tuck Everlasting. The narrator's voice too babyish for main character, to Valley-girl for the babysitter (thankfully, she was not in the story much). The other voices were great, though. I loved the way the writer incorporated science history and the dilemmas faced with different discoveries.

Good Middle School pick

Listened to this over the course of two road trips with my 13, 11 and 5 year old. They enjoyed it and it made us laugh - and think.

A really good book!!

The narrative was awesome, I truly enjoyed the style of this book. I'd like to re- read it again.

What a wonderful story

This book my 11 year old daughter and I listened to it together. It brought out in-depth conversations about the ethical aspects of science. It is funny and interesting.

Great story but the narrator, not so much

I really liked the story I thought it was really interesting and it makes me want to read the sequel but the narrators voice was kind of annoying and she gave me headaches
