Inconsistent recording quality.

Good story, expected performance by Victor, however pauses, breaks and edits mid sentence are very noticeable.

great book of course another winning novel by r.a. salvatore a great read and can't wait for the future novels

good but..

The story was amazing and the performance was good but there was an issue with the audio at points. it always worked but it swich pitch at points and became somewhat of a distraction

my dislike for breezy

I don't like breezy but after putting more thought into it maybe I'm not supposed to. overall the book was awesome like the others have been and I'm waiting for the continuing book

Jarlaxle make things interesting

Bob never misses. Always wondering and questioning something, especially Jarlaxle. Breezy has a great mentor even if she doesn't know how great.

The writing

First, ill start with what I didnt like. Really its a small thing but it seems victor bavine has gained a lisp? a few spots in the audio you could hear clear changes in recording tone. Ive listened to every single legend of drizzt book and even read the first 14. Its not a big issue, just hurt the expectations of Victor's usual performance and the audio changes disrupt the immersion.

beyond that, listening to the opening of the book with Bob's dedication, it made me sad to think that one day he will no longer write these stories. These are and have been my favorite stories for so long. ive listened and read them multiple times over. I love the direction this series has taken with breezy and I truly hope that we get to see many more years of her adventures with lots of jarlaxl. The day R.A stops writing will be such a sad sad day for me, so I wish him and his family the best of health and unusually long lives 😅

what a great way to introduce the character that will continue the Drizzit legacy. can't wait to see where Brezzy gets off to next.

Good book, performance needs work

At times its hard to tell if the performance is an actual person or an AI. I won't get into details as it leads to spoilers but there is a point where the reader sounds like one character but says its another. Either way, this is an amazing story and I'm happy to have it as part of my Drizzt collection. There are also some issues with the audio changing pitch, but nothing too serious, the audio itself does work and there's no points where it cuts out.
