Amazing As Always

Ben's story was the HEA he deserved, what he didn't even know he needed. Riley was the perfect compliment to the gruffness of Ben.

Friends to Lovers Romantic Serial Killer Mystery

Ben Logan and Riley Carpenter were childhood best friends(along with Nate) until tragedy struck and Ben became a Marine. Fourteen years later, a serial killer in his home town draws him back to Alabama. This book has a lot of action, danger and suspenseful moments that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. Wonderful epilogue and bonus scenes! Highly recommended!

Jason Clarke and Ava Lucas were absolutely fantastic in their portrayal of Ben, Riley and all of the other characters present from this series. The performance was perfect!

The Voice Actors Truly Bring the Book to Life

You cannot go wrong with Jason Clarke and Ava Lucas. Brittney writes a great military suspense novel; these two voice actors are the icing on the cake. I highly recommend this novel and the rest of the Hidden Truths series. It is romantic suspense at its best!

Great Listen

I read this years ago. Listening reminded me why I started to follow Brittney Sahin. There are twist and turns to keep you engaged in listening to this romantic suspense. It was also a refresher on some of her characters that are mentioned in her later series. She keeps you hooked!

a fast-paced listen that keeps you on your toes

A fast-paced listen with lots of heartache and twists and turns to keep you on your toes as all the crazy is waded through to find the killer. Amongst all that was the angst as I rooted for and urged Ben and Riley to get over their hang up and find their happiness...which they finally did. Narrators did a terrific job.

Well written and narrated conclusion

Characters were awesome and the multiple novel series closed up well. Recommend Brittney novels to others.

Brittney did it again. she is great at keeping you intrested as well and keeping you on the edge of your seat.
Can Ben get past his fear of not being good enough and the regret and forgive himself to save the love of his like.

I loved the voice narration for the book. makes it come alive.

To Settle The Unknown

Sometimes you simply connect with someone. It's inevitable...fate... destiny! But what happens when that connection is so overwhelming that you lose sight and your way? Ben and Riley become our story.

As teens, they were part of a trio but tragedy strikes leaving these two to comprehend and re-evaluate their lives. Unfortunately, they didn't reach the same conclusion. Now, years later, a war, school, budding careers and another tragedy see the couple reunited. Old wounds and deep pain plague them both. He doesn't see himself as a good man but Ben will draw his last breath to protect Riley, his secret and her heart. Riley doesn't carry a chip on her shoulder but a huge boulder. Ben was the beginning and ending of her heartbreak. But their small town becomes the target of a killer forging an unlikely team with this couple.

This storyline was small-town newspaper front page. And the journey this couple traveled both broke my heart and gave me hope. Sometimes all you need is a second chance. So many what-ifs, what might have been and why didn't we. Tense moments, drama, dark forces and heavy duty chemistry blanket these pages. Along with a few "didn't see that coming".

Ava Lucas and Jason Clarke did an outstanding performance with these characters. They allowed me to feel the bitterness, the anguish, the unknown. An incredible narration duo.

Serial killer mystery and romance

Childhood best friends (part of a trio actually) meet again in their hometown because of a murder of a loved one. I loved Ben and Riley and couldn't stop reading/listening waiting for them to finally admit their feelings. Special guests Ava and Aiden from Beyond the Chase show up to help solve the mystery.

A great ending to the series!

The narration by Jason Clarke and Ava Lucas was excellent.

Forgot how much I liked this story as I read the book years ago. Loved listening to it and having it come to life.
