While this book addresses the topic of Family, the principles Dr. Bixby presents can be applied to every situation in life. When seeing the title, I thought of legacy in terms of money; however, this book revealed an understanding that there is more to pass on than money, buildings, and possessions. How do we leave a lasting legacy to our children and their generations? Dr. Bixby’s thorough work walks through foundational frameworks to transform you, your family, and the culture around you. After reading and applying this book in my life, it has given me insight on shaping and transforming our family, friends, and culture for generations to come.
The performance of the audiobook is enjoyable as well. I always appreciate hearing the author read their own work. Dr. Bixby does an excellent job in delivering the content.

Beautiful Insight into Family Culture

The Narration was beautiful and holds the listeners attention. The insight into the family legacy and it's influence on shaping culture brought a revelation of the importance of stewarding family. Not only did it show the vitality of this but opened up the door to practical ways to implement legacy in my own home, life and the lives of others around me. I highly recommend this book to many I meet and am blessed to have the opportunity to read it.

There are no courses in college on how to do family, and let’s be honest, most of us likely learned how to do family dysfunctionally. This material is what’s missing from families’ arsenals and classrooms. If you truly desire to heal your family and “do” family as God designed family to be, you’ve got to give this book a read or listen. It’s super practical and Dr Bixby walks you through every detail of every exercise (I appreciate how dummy proof it is!). Your spouse, children and generations to come will thank you! It’s blessed my family (and marriage) tremendously!

Dr. Randy Bixby provides answers for the questions many of us are asking about family. Is it possible to help my family be better at being, well, a healthy family? I grew up with a Family Bible on the coffee table in the living room of our house. I wish we had also had this book and the accompanying workbook, because they are a true family manual to aid all who are interested in helping your family to get healthy and stay healthy.
