Resumen del Editor

Book three in an epic historical fantasy series that blurs the lines between this world and the Otherworld.

Fires rage in Albion: strange, hidden fires, dark-flamed, invisible to the eye. Llew Silver Hand is High King of Albion, but now the Brazen Man has defied his sovereignty and Llew must journey to the Foul Land to redeem his greatest treasure. The last battle begins, and the myths, passions, and heroism of an ancient people come to life as Llew faces his greatest test yet.

The ancient Celts admitted no separation between this world and the Otherworld: The two were delicately interwoven, each dependent on the other. The Endless Knot crosses the thin places between this work and that, as Lewis Gillies begins his ultimate quest, striking the final resounding chord in the Song of Albion.

Book Three: The Endless Knot

engrossing saga

Great saga. very believable, and clean resolution. Each book is great in a trilogy format, and this, the final chapter, lives up to the promise of good fantasy.

A Ulysses journey

How is a land redeemed by a King? What is lost for that redemption? What lies lay wait to undermine that unintentioned quest?

The story line circling around to timeless Truth

Story was rich and unique in description!
It took me a few chapters to switch to the viewpoint of Llew speaking instead of Tegid.

Wonderful story

Raw, wholesome, gritty . Real humans interacting with life conflict. Love overcomes. Evil weakens. Light is greater than dark.

Love the legendary feel of the story!

Celtic stories are a woven mix of high ideals and epic tales! Stephen R Lawhead is the best author in this genre. He weaves the classic tales into type & shadows of the Swift Sure Hand I know as Jesus. I learn more about Him every time I hear or read them!

Favorite book series

Amazing book and series. The beautiful detailed descriptions makes one appreciate the beauty in everyday life. Narrator can't voice a woman.

Great story, some weird narration

Beautiful story, Lawhead is masterful and does not disappoint in his well told stories. The narrator on this does decent on some things, but some of his accents that he tries are so painful to hear. Pronunciations change from the last narrator to this one and takes some getting used to, but the worst is the women. It's like if someone learned a Scottish accent while living in India, then got drunk and hit on the head. It's truly painful to listen to, and shows that subtler narrators are as always, the best.

Narration matters.

Great story. Lawhead told an amazing tale. The narrator left something to be desired as it was too abrupt a change for this tale. I’m not opposed to his voice or style, I wish he had stuck closer to the original narrator’s style.

What an awful narrator

Holy wow this is bad. The narrator is not suited to this book at all. If I could give him negative stars for his truly bizarre accents used for the women, I would. My stars it is horrific.
Overall it wasn't as good as the narrator for the first two, I greatly preferred the Welsh leaning accent of the man who read the first two books. But when I got to Scátha's voice I scrambled for my phone to turn it off it was so bad. It was like some weird mockery of an Indian accent.
Just so bad, and it's a shame as I do love the series, having read the books a few times I was enjoying the audiobooks greatly. But I'll be giving this third one a did not finish due solely to the terrible voice acting.
