Our murderous fae friend has found a very like minded kitty and we love that for him! The council is ramping up their efforts to end everyone associated with the Salvatore’s, can’t wait for the next book.

Cian & Fenric

This is Cian’s story. When he first appeared book 2 of the series, he wasn’t in his right mind being cut off from Rory whom had suffered a mortal wound and was a ed in stasis in that book. He wasn’t a likeable character back then, but as the stories/books continued I learnt there was more to him. So this book explores his character, how his emotions are deep and that he can fall in love. Which he dies with Fenric a Caith-sidhe, who’s an assassin. They complement each other.

I loved listening to this book. The narrator did an awesome job.

Perfect match for a murderer with an icy streak!

I’ve been waiting to see what type of person would touch the seemingly ice cold heart of my favorite murderous serial killer! I love that Sheena Jolie has not weakened or melted the great Cian Brennan, but put someone in his path to match his stony coldness with and equal force. Makes for a really great story! I love that the iceberg heart of a man with little to zero interest in s3x doesn’t go all gooey. Changing the personality I love so much would not be right for this character. Cold, calm, collected, and sharp as steel, Cian slowly realizes what love feels like to him. Fenric is his perfect partner- never pushing, always supporting, and deeply thrilled with all the murderous bits ;) I love that there is a great plot behind the love stories in the Beacon Hill Sorcerer series. Rincon Dumond may be our next vamp getting a really, really old mate- along with all his quirks and interesting past. I can’t wait!

Asexual main character, enthusiastic consent, healing from trauma

Great writing, excellent narration, clever in-depth magical workings, characters you can relate to and feel for, an asexual main character in a fantasy/ paranormal romance book where the characters talk about how they feel and negotiate boundaries before sex…! There’s so much to love I can’t list it all. This series just keeps getting better. Thank you, Sheena Jolie, for giving us good LGBTQ+ representation and for modeling what consent and healthy relationships should look like. Now if we can just have a polyamorous mating that does the same this series will be perfect! ❤️
