What a unique narrative. The main character is humble and unassuming in an endearing way, and so what ultimately happens to him is sad, surprising and uplifting.

The narrator does an excellent job making the character come to life. Not my usual type of book but it definitely kept my my interest.

Narration was awesome. That is usually the reason why I won't enjoy an Audible, but this was great. Pierre, although somewhat incomplete, is a totally loveable character. I really enjoyed this and will be recommending it to friends. It's a shame the movie has such terrible reviews especially since I like a lot of the actors/actresses.

Beautifully narrated and completely captivating. This is my first time reading a Drury book and loved the stark, yet dreamy scapes.
