LOL funny!
As far as chick lit goes, this was fast paced and extremely funny. I hate "romance type" novels, but this had just the right amount of romance without taking over the story. The narrator was perfect for the part and I could easily visualize all of the characters. Loved it!

A light summer book...
This was an easy listen, done by Jenna Lamia [secret life of bees] who I find soothing to listen to. The book had a bit more storyline than I had initially thought. You'll not be any closer to "self actualization" after this book but amused, relaxed and entertained.... likely.

Fabulous story!!
This was the best book I have listened to in a long time. It made me laugh out loud throughout the whole thing. The characters are perfect, and the story was read by the perfect person to do so. And I am in a league, so I thought it was perfectly written!

Funny!
This is a very funny, fast-paced book about a Texas socialite who loses her husband and money but finds herself. Though it's not the deepest book, it's very entertaining. The narrator does a fantastic job. She makes every character unique and has terrific comic timing.

Highly entertaining
The narrator is fabulous and the text captured my interest immediately. She read each character with skill and humor. While the plot may be frivolous, funny and downright unbelievable at times, I loved it and can't wait to hear the sequel. Bravo!
