But as flashes of memories—of pets, lovers, errands, and beloved music—emerge, some students start to question the Center’s strict instruction and begin to explore different ways in which they might define themselves.

Too much about biting the wart off someone's foot

Interesting thoughts about language but there is no plot here. And after the millionth mention about biting the wart off Maria's foot, I gave up halfway through.
