Acerca de esta escucha
A dangerous decision yanks two sisters out of the frying pan and lands them into the fire in this pulse pounding psychological thriller by the bestselling author of Everybody Ain't Your Friend and The Quiet Ones series.
After losing their beloved mother to ovarian cancer, identical twin sisters Jessie and Belle Brown’s world is shattered to pieces. Their mother poured out her soul to help others, but in her time of need, the only ones who pitched in were strangers. Their deadbeat father refused to lift a finger in their direction.
Seething with rage over their father’s absence, coupled with pain and agony over their mother’s passing, the sisters need a place to channel their pain. Their selfish father seems to be the perfect target.
Will their plan to make him pay for his abandonment end in success? Or will it spark the beginning to the end of Jessie and Belle’s ruin?
A pulse-pounding drama full of twists and turns. This series starter is fast-paced, straight to the point, and packs a powerful punch that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
The Red Series is composed of self-contained stories–they can be listened to in any order.

Great Story
Tanisha Stewart is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. The Red Series is intriguing. The fast paced stories pull you in and the plot twist keep you coming back for more. This was my first book narrated by Regina C King and I enjoyed her delivery. The post production audio was off at points causing an inconsistent experience. But this didn’t take away from the story.

Assumptions
I was invested in this story from the first sentence until the last. Thee way these events tumbled into bigger and bigger piles of mess had me going.
They say it rolls down hill but it was all over the place in this story.
We start with siblings that wasn't their pay back. But for what..... they had it wrong.
This was a great story 👏🏽.

Very enjoyable story!
Enjoyed this story very much! When teenage twins Jessie & Belle loose their mother to cancer, these young ladies need an outlet to release their rage & anger! Who better to take the brunt of this pain, than their deadbeat father. Young and fueled with anger, these sisters make one self sabatoging decision after another. Will they be able to deal with the consequences of their decisions? Perfect for domestic/family thriller lovers, with a twist throw in. Satisfying ending & great story. Part of the Red Series, but can be read as a standalone.

Fast and furious
I was not expecting that!!!!! This was really good. I thought for sure this book was about to be about some other stuff but that plot twist had me fooled. Glad to see everything worked out in the end
