Yum

A good snack of a book. I also wish it had been longer, but sometimes a quick resolution is better than having to wait forever for sequel. I enjoyed the honesty of the characters thoughts. The narrator used tone in odd ways sometimes though.

I’m Speechless, I Loved it.

This book was out of this world amazing, I agree that it could have been longer and sort of better; though the book was nice and sad. I Loved this book it’s one of my favorites, I hope someone will enjoy this book as much as I. I can’t express how much I love this book it teaches a valuable lesson that no matter how broken you seem; things will always be more beautiful for haven been broken, even you too.

Worth it!

I am not a huge y/a fan so I had a hard time getting through the tone in the first few chapters, but by the time the two main characters met I was completely sucked in. Such a wonderful story with characters you can care about, a unique setting, and a believable romance. If you love the ocean, magic, enemies to lovers, or the 1920s you will love this book.

I found The Narration for all of the main characters was amazing, but a little funky for some if the side character, still good overall.

Wish I read this instead!

A great story. very fun, short and to the point. The narrators pronunciation and voices are a bit off at times

The narrator and story were well written. The author showed different sides of each character well. I’m glad to see bi representation through a great story

started and finished it in a day. couldn't take my headphones off. it was just very good. great narration & story

very good

this was fun, sad and just beautiful. there were a few things that I thought weren't handled well (a fear the main character has that is kinda brushed off but is also a large part of her) and one character that I feel didn't deserve their redemption and wished they'd have had a comeuppance. other than that, the how the women come together and overall plot were great. as fitting as the ending was for the two leads it didn't feel like a 'happy ever after' but was still satisfying enough not to take away the goods feelings it brought. the magic system was interesting and felt new though had elements of familiar tropes. it's worth your time.
