I'm far from done.

I gave Eris the first taste of the terror to come, but in doing so, I had to agree to a peace treaty with the King. For the next twelve years, I cannot bring as much as a single unit on human lands…

That doesn't mean I'm going to rest, oh no! I will use that time to further build my skills and my kingdom. I need to become even stronger so I can bring Eris one step closer to total annihilation.

There's a little problem, though… Where am I to find Discordance now that I can't terrorize Tague anymore? It seems like I will have to move to Lepidonia, land of vampires and lycanthropes, and take on whatever contracts I can find in exchange for Shards.

As always, my eagerness will come back to bite me in the rear as I start hunting down wild entities that prove more than I bargained for.

I enjoyed the new addition

My only hope is that he stays true to a villainous path. The dilemma of morality and his future was good fuel for the story but I worry my favorite revenant might tread a lighter path over time. Please keep him “evil” and self-serving. You have an awesome opportunity to add an “evil triumphs over good” ending with this story and defy the norm of so many LitRPG’s in the genre. As of now I’m still quite entertained albeit weary of the next installment. Regardless, the writing was well done in my opinion. Best wishes Mr. Karevak.

Darkly rivetting continuation

The orator’s performance matches the dark intensity of the author’s story. Do you enjoy following the process of how a final boss in a game dungeon potentially got the power and position they have? This is the story for you. If you like anti-hero type narratives. This is the story for you.

Frigging awesome

The first book was just ok. Took awhile to get going, and establish a direction. Book 2 comes out of the gate swinging. This was the narrator's best effort. Luke Daniel's territory. Now, upon my resurrection, I would have deleted Peter. A snake coward who's only good for back stabbing. The only negative is the Banchee fight. She used her minons instead of getting dirty herself. Other than that? A truly excellent book.

Amazing

I am on the edge of my seat with every chapter with the level of paranoia the Main Character has, can't wait for Book 3. If you enjoy this genre, this will be an easy purchase.

great series, if I had to complain about something it might be the lack of a romantic interest for the MC. However as he connects to his old self I assume it will be coming in the future, pun intended

Smack Down

Quite enjoyable listen filled with political retort, main character personal growth, betrayal/revenge/pardon, side character personal growth, dark humor and enjoyable twists.

the main character is an awful anti-hero. try civ CEO instead it's much better

this story is just how everyone is awful especially if they have power. maybe it's just too villainy for me?

Disappointed

I loved the first book, this one in a word sucked! I could not get passed how annoying and arrogant the MC got especially since he was always so surprised when people betray him. The voice acting was good though that really carried the whole thing.
