Her sensational act was mounting a running horse as it reached the top of a 40-foot or 60-foot tower and sailing down on its back as it plunged into an 11-foot pool of water below. In 1931, she was blinded due to hitting the water off balance with open eyes while diving her horse. After the accident, she continued to dive horses until 1942.

It’s a “palate cleanser” after the heavy, dark story I just listened to
I enjoyed the light hearted stories along with the occasional sounds effects! I’m glad to have heard it after deep subject matter I listened to earlier.

broke my heart
I listen to my books while I'm driving. I would find myself laughing so hard I'd have tears coming out of my eyes. then the end truly wrenched my heart.

Not a cat story
This cover implies that the book is mainly about a cat. It is actually about a cat dad. The story strings together short stories that jump around and doesn’t necessarily flow. Half way through he stops talking about the cat. Although entertaining, the silly sound effects are distracting and the ending is the worst. As a Media Specialist and cat lover I hate to say it but would not recommend.😒

where is the ending ?
though I like the story. after all how can you not love a story about the cat training the humans . I really feel as if the story has been left to wither and die without having a following book .

Not as it appears
This story is only partially about a cat. The cat parts in the book are great. All the rest is pretty dull, especially the fishing. The horse stuff was way too drawn out. Should’ve been just about the cat. And the ending SUCKS! Did the cat come back or not? No closure at all to the story. Ugh!!!!
