Better than the first Camel Club

If you could sum up The Collectors in three words, what would they be?

Great old books

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Pretty much. Never knew how the story was going to go.

Any additional comments?

I think it was this book where there is a woman who reads the Annabelle part. Her sections seemed spliced with the male reader. There was clearly a different background ambient sound and very different recording of her voice. I found that distracting. Poor production.

Great writer

I like all his books, written or audio. I have most of David's books and I am enjoying listening to then.

loved it, can't wait to listen to the next book in the series. very good.

The camel club is great

This is a very good book. I very much enjoyed it. One of Baldacci good ones

I was wary about purchasing this book because of the reviews that panned the multiple narrators. I had never listened to a multiple narration before and thought I would probably find it distracting. Actually, my experience was the opposite.

The Collectors

Excellent Plot. The 2nd edition of the Camel Club was great and look I forward with great anticipation to the next installment. I like any book that can put images into my head and this book did.

Wraps like an episode of "Scooby-Doo"

This wooden Baldacci mystery is filled with cliches and hackneyed, dated stereotypes. The three-voiced dramatization is a big minus, unfortunately, especially as the sole female has to bring multiple characters to life, and she is simply not equal to the task. All of her voices sound like a 1970s throwback to a 1940s tough broad. The men fare a bit better, but have little to work with, as the dialogue is weak and the story is absurd. Not an agonizing time-waster, but a time-waster all the same.

My least favorite baldacci so far

I have listened to almost all of the baldacci books and have loved them all...even if listening to them all at once reveals many common character traits and themes amongst the series. This was my least favorite so far. I just kept getting lost in the story. I still liked it...and the camel club characters just not as much as the others.

Horrendous narration

The narration was so bad it may have destroyed the book for me. It took everything I had to finish it.

The Camel Club series

This series and the Camel Club is so good that I've read it twice! Enjoy!
