loved this book!

This book had everything I love all wrapped into one sweet, sexy read. A total virgin and a kind, caring man to teach him the ropes sexually. Kieran was awesome and Alex was so young and naive. Watching them guide Alex through his sexual discovery on their path to falling in love was just so good.
Oh and Nick Russo, swoon...he was amazing as always. Just so sexy and spot on with all of the emotions. I could listen to him forever.

Refreshing and cute

My favorite part is in the adults only store. I laughed so much! This is cute and kept me wondering what was next for these two!

OMG...this book

L.A. Witt with Nick J. Russo have a way of making you feel everything her characters are feeling...in this book of course it's Kieran and Alex. Nick has the gift of making you feel like you're in the room with him and he's the one whispering into your ear. One line from the book I keep hearing over and over: "Tell me how to f***k you Alex." I am enjoying this series immensely, I hope that the rest get on audio as well. But only with Nick at the helm. This is a book I would definitely read again.

Worth a listen

As a narrator, Nick J Russo is awesome. Listening to his voice really made up for what I saw as the negatives in the story. For the most part, I liked this book and the characters but I git sick and tired of the over emphasis on consent. “Can I touch you on your arm? Can I touch you on your stomach? Can I touch you on your leg? Can I touch you on your cock? Are you sure? Are you really sure? Are you super sure? Ok, now I’m touching you, is this still ok? Now I’m adding more pressure, is this still ok? I can hear you moaning and can see you writhing in pleasure but I still want to make sure you are ok so if you can tell me with words, I’d really appreciate you letting me know you are ok.” That’s how this book felt sometimes. What. A. Buzz. Kill. Thankfully, the rest of the scenes were hot enough that I tuned out the annoying words in the beginning of a scene and focused on Nick J Russo’s voice instead.

Still My Favorite

I read these books years ago and to this day, The Closer You Get is still my favorite. The audio narrated by Nick J Russo just enhanced the story between Kieran and Alex. I can re-read and now re-listen to this book at least every 6 months and never get tired of their love story.

love is scary but worthwhile

When love sneaks up on yoy and you're all in; it's a beautiful feeling like a warm cozy blanket on a chilly evening!! Feels!!! It was good seeing Kieran vulnerable and finding his person. Alex was so sweet it almost made my teeth ache. I was happy Kieran worked through his anxiety to play the long game. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did an excellent job bringing the characters and story to life.
