In these novels we trace the lives of people in each generation over the course of seven generations (members of the classes of 1902, 1922, 1942, 1962, 1982, 2002, and 2022). We consider how forces beyond their control shape their lives and how their character shapes their own destiny. Do they rebel or conform? There will be highs and lows. There will be successes and failures. Therein lies the secret of life.
In The Class of 1942, we follow Gina Keyo’s life. We consider what formed her personality, her parents’ influence, her sibling’s influence, and society’s role in all this. In due course, Gina faces a life or death decision. Her personal beliefs and society's dictates are in conflict. See how she handles the resultant crisis. What would you have done?
