Love a good twist

I love a good twist at the end- I didn’t see it coming! I really enjoyed listening to this book! Looking forward to the next one.

Took a while to get into!

The story line is good, but it took some time to get into! It started off kind of boring, but finally got good a couple of chapters in.

A little Confusing

I got the audiobook because it was advertised as Whispersync. However, the chapters do not line up with the Kindle book at all. There are chapters missing from the audio book and vice versa. Also having a character named Erin, married to an Aaron makes an audio book very confusing as the names are pronounced the same. The story itself did keep me listening. It wrapped up quickly and ends on a cliffhanger. So I'll probably read the next book (it doesn't look like it is available as an audiobook).

Mehhhh

The story sucks you in, but the last half when everything unfolds-it is just kind of cheesy and disappointing. Didn't love it.

Predictable and Tedious

One man's page-turner is another man's snooze-fest, I suppose. This novel spends hours telling you everything and showing you nothing. There are few surprises and it is mostly a parade of unhinged and oblivious characters who don't seem to grasp the level of their dysfunction. No one is particularly likable, and the decision-making of most of the cast of characters is questionable at best and most often nonsensical. Nothing like being witness to terrible people making increasingly terrible decisions. You could see the conspiracy coming chapters away, and it was a grind to get to the unsatisfying conclusion. The performances from the narrators were decent. They did their best with the material. But really, who names two principal characters Erin and Aaron, and then makes an audiobook?

Very twisted, started out loving the characters, but ended terribly

Loved the premise and the characters, but then they all turned into monsters, terrible villains, ending was awful

The shock value of surprises

This was a great storyline. A bit hard to follow with characters having the same name, but the narrator did a really good job through enunciation.
