Enjoyable
I am wrapped into the story and must know Lucien(probably not the correct spelling) story. What happens to him and his adventures along the way. I've got all the books on Aubidle just waiting on the last 2 to be available.

genuinely loathe the mc
I have tried to hold out with this limp d*ck spineless mc Lucian but I can't. The dude just does not commit to anything, second guesses every decision, and he simply REFUSES to accept his circumstances. I am seriously frustrated with this series because I'm really intrigued by the setup of the world and universe. The side characters are interesting enough and I enjoy the gotta find em all arc thenstory is taking...but the mentally weak mc is excruciating to deal with. I wish it was different but I'm done with this series. I hoped the mc would grow a pair but according to reviews of the rest of the series, the mc does not change. It's a shame.

Fairly boring
Was on such a high note from the previous 3 books this one was just a let down. I could see the betrayal coming halfway through the book. I will probably and unfortunately not not get the next one.
