Reseñas editoriales

Narrator Teresa DeBerry's versatile voice goes from gentle to flashy, bringing out the individual accents of the characters in this mystery. Lee McKinney is starting over in Warner Pier, Michigan, helping her aunt at her shop, TenHuis Chocolate. When the local Chamber of Commerce plans a teddy bear promotion for tourists, they're certain that their chocolate teddy bears will fly out of the shop. But one night TenHuis Chocolate is robbed, and valuable antique chocolate molds go missing. Soon after, the antiques dealer who lent them the molds is murdered, and Lee's stepson is the main suspect. DeBerry deftly evokes Lee's intrepid charm as an unlikely investigator out to get to the bottom of things.

Didn't know whodunit until the end

If you could sum up The Chocolate Bear Burglary in three words, what would they be?

Good Cozy Book

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Chocolate Bear Burglary?

Gosh, just a good, book!

What about Teresa DeBerry’s performance did you like?

Her accent... love the way she talks and performs

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Not that riveting but really good for every time I got a chance to read for sure.

Any additional comments?

All of her books will be good, I'm sure. I have a couple more book to read yet and plan to buy more cuz she/'s just so nice to listen too and!! the mysteries on the first 2 books held my interest so I guess that counts for a good listen!!

Don't waste your time

I read the first book in this series and found it annoying, but at least I finished it. This one was worse. The plot is unrealistic- step son from previous marriage runs away because his parents are thinking about getting together and gets involved in murder plot. The story made no sense. It was also very boring. Not could I not get into the story but I didn't find any of the characters interested. I finally gave up halfway through it. I will not buy a book by this author again.
