Cozy, fun, entertaining

The Case of the Mix-up Murder by Rosie Sam’s is a wonderful cozy, fun murder mystery. Christina Fountain did a fantastic job with the narration, she brings the characters to life and makes the story more entertaining. The Case of the Mix-up Murder is the second book in the Dog Detective- A Bulldog on the Case Cozy Mystery series. The story is entertaining, interesting, cozy, mysterious, a little thrilling and a cute bulldog. Lola Ramsay is starting to get used to civilian life after retirement and moving to a new town, she decided to be a P.I.. So with her talking French Bulldog she sits out on a new case. Ah, yes, if we could only understand what our pets are saying... Mystery solving get a boost when its a team effort with a partner who has different sensing abilities.

Lovely cozy mystery

This high quality cozy mystery has such a lovely flow, the sleuthing and dialogue happen naturally. I enjoyed the performance with all the voices and I'd definitely recommend this book for mystery fans of all ages.

Love this series so far

I love this series. I am a animal lover and I love Sassy , the dog in this book. Interesting characters and good plot . Narration is great also. Not too long could probably use a little more.

Excellent!

This is a wonderful cozy in a fun series by Rosie Sams. Lola Ramsay is a US Army vet with PTSD. She moved to a small English village and with Sassy, her French bulldog service animal, she has embarked on her career as a private investigator. I enjoy the characters and their interactions and how Lola and Sassy work together to solve the crimes. The narration by Christina Fountain is outstanding. Her performance brings the characters and story to life.

Great book very mysterious and gets you thinking. Very well done with this book. Amazing narrating and well written. Also very relaxing. Definitely would recommend this book

Book Two Delivers More Sassy Fun

I enjoyed the second book just as much as the first—which is to say, a lot! The funny antics of Sassy chasing birds, her little legs moving so fast with such determination, had me cracking up! And don’t even get me started on the socks—hi-lar-i-ous! The narration was spot on, and I’m getting used to Sassy’s voice. I’m looking forward to hearing more in book 3!

Great narrator and a fun campy story. Love this little pups adventures. Looking forward to the next one.

Fantastic narration

Each voice is distinct and it makes it very easy to follow along! Especially because I tend to listen to things while doing chores around the house and don’t always focus so well, I never lose my place and I always know which character is talking! Well done narrator!!!

sweet story told well

I love the way Rosie Sam's describes her war veteran character' s therapeutic process with her service dog. it's very believable. And Christina Fountain's voice is perfect for the series.
