Lola and Sassy on another case!

PI Lola Ramsay and her service dog Sassy are investigating the disappearance of a local man along with a rug from his home. He and his wife had a volatile relationship and she becomes a main suspect in his disappearance and presumed death. Lola finds a lot of other people with motive to dislike the man. A good mystery with twists, turns and eventual resolution of the crime. I enjoy this series and the realistic and evolving characters and their relationships. There is a lot of light hearted humor, as well as a solid mystery and good writing. The narration is outstanding and the performance brings the characters and story to life.

The story and narration were exactly what I’ve come to expect from the bulldog on the case—full of twists, turns, and plenty of laughs along the way.
