Would you try another book from Jane Ashford and/or Christine Rendel?

Have purchased heaps of this Author's books and thoroughly enjoyed them.
Would buy again........not with this narrator though as I found it very 'flat'.
In my opinion the book was read and not really narrated as, for a lot of the book, there were no strong characterizations at all.Very disappointed as I listened to a sample and thought it would be OK.

Will find more books from this author. The language is articulate and descriptive but not tiring. The intimacy was subdued and not brassy. Kept my interest which is not easy.
