Captivating and Intriguing; I absolutely loved it! It was Narrated perfectly! Joseph Morgan with his accent and detailed description paints a vivid picture of each moment unfolding. I was left wanting the story to continue at its end. I recommend this to all.

Love the story and he kept me interested from the start to the finish. And I do want to say having Joseph Morgan read the story to you is a plus. He knows just how to tell the story too! And who doesn't fall in love with voice!! That is why I had to say "Brilliant" ♡☆

A Short King

This story may be short, but it is rife with thematic elements, asks the listener so many thought-provoking questions (if you’re listening for them—they don’t sound like questions when you are in the thick of it), and calls to attention things about ourselves and the world we live in and makes you face them (even if it’s uncomfortable, dear God). And all within the span of 30 minutes—honestly, wow. I will definitely give this another listen to see what else I can uncover. This could certainly be fleshed out even more into an epic journey (there would be a lot to explore there) but it is a little gem as is, so it’s not strictly necessary. Anyhoo, highly recommend, and looking forward to more in the future. Also, nice work on the cover art, Jack—you’re the real MVP.

Definitely Worth The Wait

Preordered The Boy and The Beast and it was definitely worth the wait. The story telling transports you as if you’re right there with him. Beautifully written and narrated by Joseph. I clung to every word the whole time.

Intriguing and suspenseful!

I loved listening to this story! Very good story and plot, and I feel that an audio book is the perfect format for this story. I love Joseph Morgan's voice anyway, but the way he read the story made it even more intriguing.

I came, admittedly, to hear Joseph's voice but the story itself was actually phenomenal. absolutely recommend on both fronts.

Mysterious, Suspenseful, Gripping

The haunting narration by Joseph Morgan makes for easy listening to a tale containing horror, mystery, suspense and the power of the human spirit…L. Bean

Fun, dark Gothic tale

narrated well by the author. Atmospheric with a clear beginning, middle, and end. Better than some werewolf movies I've watched.
